Cycling Around Chesham UK

Staying in the delightful town of Chesham for the last three months has given me the opportunity to explore Buckinghamshire and neighbouring Hertfordshire, two of the most spectacular counties in England.

Chesham is a market town in the Chiltern Hills, Buckinghamshire, England. It is located approximately 25 miles northwest of London and has a population of around 21,000 people. The town is served by the London Underground’s Metropolitan line, which provides a direct link to central London.

Riding in this part of England is a cyclist’s dream … panoramic English countryside, idyllic villages, flint-stone & red-brick walls, black barns, pretty cottages and gardens, on traffic-free lanes and quiet country roads.

Here are some of my favourite rides. Feel free to download the GPX maps (see “Download” button at the top of the OSM Map page) and experience for yourself.
